ABOUT OUR WOMEN'S BLANKET JACKETS
| Our women's wool blanket jackets, women's wool blanket coats and women's wool capes and wool cape coats are made for us in a small shop in beautiful Taos, New Mexico. The coats and jackets are cut in 100% medium weight wool from domestic and Scandinavian woolen mills. The designer takes very special care to match each blanket to every style jacket or coat in order to preserve the full expression of each blanket. | If you look closely, you will notice very few seams or panels, all sleeves are full, with very few if any back seams. Each item is cut by hand from a single blanket. All blankets are double faced and as a result are attractive both inside and out. They are soft but sturdy and will last for many years. | The metal buttons are custom nickel silver styles made in Colorado and the "horn" buttons are hand made in Arizona and individually polished. The collection is both practical and fun to wear and is designed in the North American tradition of blanket garments dating back to colonial times. |
